Shaker Table
A classic table from New Hampshire’s Enfield Shaker Village (circa 1830) inspired this design. It features a dovetailed drawer with square tapered legs. The wood is a cherry top, sides, back, front rails, legs, and drawer front. The drawer is made of poplar with a bottom fitting into a dadoed groove.
The top is book-matched (cut from a thicker board and unfolded like a book) from a single board to provide a unique grain pattern. Dovetails are hand cut and joinery is mortise and tenon for strength.
The dimensions are 22.5 inches wide x 15.5 inches deep x 27.5 inches high.
